Ride the inaugural Gravel event at Swinley Forest

As part of the Swinduro Festival Weekend in September, the Gravel’duro (link to ADNVTR.CC pre-review of the loop) gives the dropbar crowd a chance to join in the fun. The concept will be familiar with anyone who has taken part in any enduro style gravel event such as Grit Fest or Grinduro.

A laid back Gravel Sportive + Mountain Bike-Style Enduro = Gravel’duro

The Swinley Gravel’duro takes in a 40 km route through the forest, along fire roads and singletrack, and making the most of the contours!

There will be 5 timed sections testing your climbing, descending and singletrack skills.

The Gravel’duro will take in the forest’s various vista’s including singletrack, fireroads, climbs and cross country hammer down (or take in the views) sections- there is something for everyone along the loop. When riders return to Basecamp there will be street food, West Berks Brewery and music to chill…not to mention the BEST event coffee provider out there serving up gravel delights from their wrapped Defender.

The loop navigates the forest (GPX provided pre-event to follow route) and is not taking part on waymarked MTB trails so it is a purpose designed gravel loop that has hard pack and forest singletrack galore - its gonna be a blast - bring your drops, bring your mates - bring your finest face beards!
